This online course uses the Assistive Technology Internet Modules (ATIM) www.atinternetmodules.org to provide participants with an overview of assistive technology assessment and interventions for early childhood and school-age children. Participants in this course will learn about the various domains of AT and needed administrative support, AT assessment tools and processes, consideration and documenting AT in the IEP and IFSP, AT implementation, AT transition planning, and AT funding strategies. This online course uses the Assistive Technology Internet Modules (ATIM) www.atinternetmodules.org to provide participants with information about assistive technology assessment and implementation to support students' access to employment, independent living, and postsecondary education. Participants in this course will learn more specifically about AT to support personal organization, daily living skills, environmental access, recreation and leisure, and other skills as they apply to independent living, postsecondary education, and employment. This online course uses the Assistive Technology Internet Modules (ATIM) www.atinternetmodules.org to provide participants with information about assistive technology assessment and implementation for students specifically with motor challenges. Participants in this course will learn about AT to support seating, positioning, mobility, computer, and mobile device access, as well as more specialized alternative access modes such as speech recognition, switch use, and scannning. This online course uses the Assistive Technology Internet Modules (ATIM) http://www.atinternetmodules.org to provide participants with information about assistive technology assessment and implementation to support student participation and access for academic learning. Participants in this course will learn about AT to support access to reading, writing, and math. They will also learn about accessible educational materials (AEM) and how to select formats and use assistive technologies to access these materials. This online course uses the Assistive Technology Internet Modules (ATIM: www.atinternetmodules.org) to provide participants with an overview about assistive technology assessment, implementation, and intervention strategies for adults with developmental disabilities. Participants in this course will learn about the AT assessment and implementation processes for all areas of AT, as well as special considerations for AAC users. Additionally, participants will learn about AT for independent living, work place accommodations, driving and transportation, and gain an understanding of transitions from school-age to adult services.
