Reflection Questions
The Reflection Questions document can be downloaded at any time and used in a variety of ways. You can view it before starting your work so that you know which questions will be asked in the videos and/or on the webpages. You can also access it at the end of your work so that you can see all your responses to the questions. This tool can be helpful for documenting your learning and referring to later or for sharing it with others in group discussions or as demonstration of your online progress.

How does your school district gather information during the AT assessment process? Which of the following (SETT, GPAT, HAAT, ASNAT, etc.) does your district use in the assessment process? If your district does not use one of these assessment frameworks/tools, how do you gather information and make a decision?
Answers will vary and the question will lead to examining current practice and possibly making improvements.

Think of a student who is unable to accomplish academic tasks independently. Complete the GPAT AT Consideration Checklist for the student. Refer to the GPAT AT Consideration Resource Guide as needed. What additional solutions/ services/ AT might you try with this student? What consideration outcome did you select for this student? Why?

SETT Framework
With the SETT Framework in mind, select a student in your school and consider his or her strengths and needs, environments, and tasks to identify appropriate tools needed to accomplish those tasks. Using the SETT Scaffold for Gathering Data - Annotated (from the Module Documents Section), list strengths and needs (under the Student heading), describe the environment(s) that your student participates in (under the Environments heading), and task that the student will likely be required to perform (under the Tasks heading). Complete as much of the form as you (or a group) can, using the Lucille example as a guide.

Protocol for Accommodations in Reading (PAR)
Practice using the PAR with a student who currently has a reading accommodation documented on their IEP to make data-driven decisions. The following steps will guide you through the process:
